1.) Kingsman: The Secret Service vs. Spy

Poll

Vote for one:

It's a battle of spy vs. spy in this second round throwdown between [Kingsman: The Secret Service](tag:713143) and Spy. Both were full of comedic moments and jam-packed with action and both did even better than anticipated at the box office. But which secret agent deserves to move on to the next mission of Round 3? Vote now and decide.

2.) Inside Out vs. Cinderella

Poll

Vote for one:

When Disney does something, it does it well. Both Inside Out and Cinderella were loved by audiences, and though each was aimed at a slightly younger audience, adults embraced them just as much. Maybe it was something about the magic and whimsy and wonder and nostalgia that both brought to the screen. But alas, only one can win, and it's up to you which one that is.

3.) Straight Outta Compton vs. Creed

Poll

Vote for one:

2015 seemed to be the year that audiences gave Hollywood a clear message: Not only can films with black lead actors do well at the box office, they can also generate their own sort of critical awards season buzz. Both Straight Outta Compton and Creed led the fight, wildly successful beyond even the most optimistic of predictions. Which one gets knocked out and which one goes home? Vote now.

4.) The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 vs. Pitch Perfect 2

Poll

Vote for one:

Two sequels. Two badass lady leads. Two of the most well-liked actresses in the game. Both [The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2](tag:449866) and Pitch Perfect 2 are wildly different in story and tone, but each was proof that, despite what Hollywood executives still seem to think, female-led movies not only kick ass, but also take names at the box office. Which one survives to emerge victorious? It's up to you to decide.

5.) Mad Max: Fury Road vs. The Martian

Poll

Vote for one:

Everyone expected both [Mad Max: Fury Road](tag:41445) and The Martian to do well at the box office, but no one quite expected them to do this well. Maybe it's something about the triumph of the human spirit and the theme of surviving in a hostile world that both shared. Still, there can only be one survivor and it's up to you to vote and decide which one that is.

6.) It Follows vs. Crimson Peak

Poll

Vote for one:

In a year that wasn't memorable for the horror genre, both It Follows and Crimson Peak were buzzed about. Unlike our sequel, prequel-heavy reality, both were original screenplays based in the horror genre, and both got people talking. But which one will be talked about all the way to the next round? Cast your vote and decide.

7.) Jurassic World vs. Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Poll

Vote for one:

Two titanic heavyweights that the world didn't see coming (well, okay, we did) arrived and completely owned the world in 2015. Both Jurassic World and [Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens](tag:711158) were long-awaited sequels to beloved properties and had the daunting task of restoring their respective franchises to their former glory. Which one did it best? Vote for the best movie now.

8.) Sicario vs. Ant-Man

Poll

Vote for one:

In the matchup between Sicario and Ant-Man, both movies...okay, you know what? I'm gonna be honest with you, I matched these movies up simply because they were the two leftovers. They don't really pair together like the rest. Both were heist movies with an inexperienced character being thrown right into the action? Maybe? Yeah, I don't know. But cast your vote and decide which one moves on!

Cast your votes, comment, and stay tuned for the third round to be revealed next Monday!
