It's that time of year again! The most prestigious award show for achievement in film has announced their nominees, and there are some happy surprises this time around. For starters, the Academy Awards has finally begun listening to what audiences wants, offering five nominations to Star Wars: The Force Awakens and ten to Mad Max: Fury Road.

The film that gained the most support from Academy voters was Alejandro G. Iñárritu's The Revenant, which nabbed an impressive 12 nominations. There were more shocks and snubs hidden within each category, so here's the full list of Oscar nominees for 2016!
