Fans of The Legend of Zelda series have long since demonstrated their love for the work of masters Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. We've seen videos, cosplay, art pieces, photographs, even video games dedicated to the Legend. As fans of the franchise ourselves, we derive great joy from sharing these fan pieces amongst the community and highlighting the works of talented artists. So, let's do just that.

Adoring Fans: From Star Wars to David Bowie. Images All Who Love The Legend of Zelda Should See

Fantoman on reddit has recently brought this image back to our attention. It's been circulating the web for a while and has been viewed over 17,000 times on imgur. And yes, it's stunning. Taking inspiration from one of the original posters for Lucas' Star Wars, this is an epic image that deservedly places The Legend of Zelda alongside one of the most beloved franchises in human history.

It draws on the similarities between the two narratives: a small country boy, a beautiful princess, a sword of power, and an evil moon (god I love Majora's Mask). Let us know what you think of it in the comments!

Almost a week ago, the world lost one of the most respected artists of all time. David Bowie was a man of limitless talent and endless style. The image above is a representation of the villain Ghirahim from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. But fans have often discussed the similarities between this villain's style and that of Bowie, particularly with regards to his role as the Goblin King in the 1986 film, Labyrinth.

Whether you agree with it or not, fans have been paying homage to the great man with drawings in the style of Ghirahim, and it's a moving way of combining the love for two legends.

Anyone else here a fan of the dystopian Anime film from 1988, Akira? It's one of the most spectacular films your eyes can behold, with one of the most confusing narratives you can conceive. It also has one of the greatest soundtracks in cinema history, and the idea of hearing its music played as Link walks up to Epona is almost too cool to handle. Don't believe me? Check out this theme, and picture link walking through Hyrule before hastily running towards Epona and launching an attack.

Be prepared, the image bellow is one of the most incredible Zelda images on the planet. ON THE PLANET!

No words.

Just breathtaking. God knows how long this piece took to create, it never seems to end! The epicness just keeps on going as your scroll further and further down the page. A marvelous achievement that demonstrates the dedication that fans have for The Legend of Zelda franchise. Let us know what you thought of these images in the comments below!
