It's happening! This is really happening!

The CW has been teasing the official reveal of Danielle Panabaker as Killer Frost on The Flash for months, but we have yet to see her in action. Now, not only do we get a high quality peak at our cold seductress, but we get an extra look at Robbie Amell back, in the flesh, as his character Firestorm's alter ego, Deathstorm! Entertainment Weekly has released photos of the evil duo, teasing the return of The Flash after its mid-season hiatus. Now, how on God's green Earth will someone as sweet as Caitlin Snow turn into Killer Frost? The answer lies in Earth-2, or the alternative version of the current Flash universe that came into fold at the end of Season 1. In said episode, Ronnie Raymond, a.k.a. Firestorm, died saving the Flash, but thank the heavens we get him back, even if just for a moment, thanks to Earth-2. The couple first appears together in the episode titled, of course, Welcome to Earth-2.

BUT not like this...
BUT not like this...

Actually, it all fits fan speculation that Earth-1 would maintain sweet Caitlin Snow with Killer Frost popping in on alternative universes the Flash creates on his unintentional time travels. See Killer Frost and Deathstorm together at last for yourself below!

Holy Hotness! Me right now:

So what does executive producer Andrew Kreisberg have to say about this huge fork in the Flash road? When referencing our key cast members he says:

“Some of these people are beyond different."

He also teases some unexpected Earth-2 appearances noting:

“There’s a couple of surprises that we’ve got in store that we’re really excited about.”

I don't know about you, but I have been WAITING for Killer Frost since the Season 1 premiere, and can't believe it's happening, and I really believe Danielle Panabaker is the girl for the job! Also, I knew Ronnie couldn't be gone for good after his ominous death in Season 2 episode 1, there were so many unanswered questioned and potholes! For now, we just have to patiently wait for The Flash to return next week with all new episodes!

'The Flash' season 2 returns January 19th at 8/7 central on the CW!
