Iconic cartoonist Matt Groening, who is responsible for hit shows like Futurama, The PJs, Clerks and most notably, The Simpsons (cue The Simpsons theme song), is reportedly working on a new animated series with internet streaming giant, Netflix. According to Deadline, Groening will be creating and writing the series, but most of the details are being kept under wraps. While it's hard to know anything without definitive proof, Netflix is supposedly discussing a two-season deal consisting of ten episodes each.
The new show will join other original animated series that Netflix offers, including F is for Family, BoJack Horseman and the upcoming Green Eggs and Ham. Groening still acts as executive producer on FOX's The Simpsons, which is now in its 27th season (does that make anyone else feel old?).
