Netflix's hit Marvel show Daredevil could see a spin-off in the near future.

According to TVLine, Marvel and Netflix are considering a series based on Frank Castle/the Punisher, who will first appear in the second season of Daredevil. However, the article does mention that no one from Marvel or Netflix has confirmed or denied this information, and TVLine's source was not identified. If true, this would mark the character's fifth entry into live action in a starring role, after 1989's Punisher, 2004's The Punisher, 2008's Punisher: War Zone, and the upcoming Daredevil season.

Daredevil's season two will premiere on March 18, 2016.
