The new protagonist in Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a lone female scavenger with little memory of why or who dropped her off on Jakku when she was a young child. She suddenly finds herself thrust into a resistance movement and along the way discovers things happening to her she doesn't understand. It's the force awakening inside her, she's instantly hearing and seeing other Jedi and parts of both hers and another's memories. Because the lightsaber belonged to Anakin, it reacted to its rightful owner of the Kyber crystal which makes up the lightsaber and is unique to Anakin himself as a Jedi rite of passage to personally obtain and use force power to make one. She easily masters piloting skills like a Skywalker does, she remembered the age old Jedi mind-trick like a boss even schooling Ben Solo in the art. She held her own during a lightsaber duel with a wounded Kylo Ren using fairly uncanny fighting style that resembled Anakin's. The three minutes of redemption at the end of Return of the Jedi wasn't near enough to finish Anakin's story arc which the entire saga is about the Skywalker redemption to bring balence to the force, once it wakes it's ass up that is.

Lor San Tekka knew the truth before being executed in the opening scene. Moz sees it in her eyes, the same eyes in different people. She know more than what was said in thier short time together. Kylo might sense something about her, but I believe Luke knows the truth about her.

The most powerful force wielding being in the galaxy, created by Midichlorians from a Powerful Sith to a virgin birth. That same Sith was stated by his apprentice Darth Sidious that it also had the ability to cheat death and even reincarnation abilities. Anakin had so much force in him, and the best of both worlds learning the ways of both the Jedi and Sith respectively.

So all this is feasible and canon.
