So far this year, seven of the most well-known actors and celebrities have passed away, and that doesn't include the lesser-known names.

The less famous celebrities who died prior to and up to January 10 are Sian Blake, Pat Harrington, Kitty Kallen, Troy Shondell, Otis Clay, Angus Scrimm and (31-year-old!) Michael Galeota.

Starting January 10, we lost these folks:

David Bowie

Cancer has been a total bitch this year.

David Margulies

Best NYC Mayor ever!
Best NYC Mayor ever!

Brian Bedford

Succumbing to cancer, the face may not be familiar, but the guy he voiced is:

Lawrence Phillips

Not a movie star, but the former NFL star-turned-inmate's antics off the field earned him some major fame, wanted or not.

Alan Rickman

Another victim to cancer. Please see below for how I feel about cancer.

Réné Angelil

Canadian singer and husband to Celine Dion, who, tragically, lost her brother two days after her husband. Both to cancer.

Seriously, tho.
Seriously, tho.

Dan Haggerty, a.k.a. Grizzly Adams

Yet another victim of cancer. Again, see above.

At this rate, we're going to lose an entire generation from Hollywood alone! The only day we got a break was on January 12, in between David Margulies on the 11th, and Brian Bedford on the 13th. But with 2 on the 13th and the 14th... losing one celeb a day, we're set to lose almost 400 by the end of the year.

If this keeps up, we're gonna need Dean Winchester to get up in here and kill death!

But no, really, everyone just please stop dying though. This is getting out of hand.
