The newest villain of the Star Wars universe was the focus of a hilarious skit on last night's edition of Saturday Night Live. Adam Driver, who plays Kylo Ren in Star Wars Episode VII, was the guest host of the most recent episode of the iconic comedy show. He put on a hilarious performance in a skit that sent up the villain from The Force Awakens and a TV show called Undercover Boss. Check out the spoof below:

We have all seen Undercover Boss, a filthy rich CEO of a huge company goes undercover as a white collar worker at one of their establishments to get to know their employees. In this instance we see Kylo Ren, the leader of The First Order disguised as an engineer on Starkiller base. It is surprising how great this video is, visually. A lot of money was clearly put into this.

The usually reserved and quiet Adam Driver has excellently demonstrated that he has a sense of humour and like all of the best SNL guests, is not afraid to look dumb for a laugh. One of the funniest parts of this spoof is that the writers played on Kylo Ren's temper tantrums in The Force Awakens. Ren's penchant for smashing things has led to Star Wars fans making internet memes about him, labelling him "Emo Kylo Ren". This was played upon brilliantly here, made even funnier by Driver's underrated comic timing.
