I'd rather watch them fall in love than die

It took a million haters to get one amazingly talented woman to stand up for another. Maybe Jennifer Lawrence was wrong but what if she wasn't? Every word she utters turns into news and every comment she makes is analyzed by the entire world, a girl who understands the phrase, "all eyes are on you" perfectly is bound to make a mistake sooner or later. Does this mean we all pounce on her giving her a hard time about how shes changed. Her work remains unaffected and that's really the most that we should care about after all we made her what she is today and now as they say, is the media is ready to burn down what it built up?

Sure, she needs to pay a little attention to what she's been saying, but she has worked hard and deserved all the fame that she got, till now she's been nothing but every girl's idol and I'm definitely not going to let people bring her down for one or two comments. The entire worlds seems to be ready to find the next celebrity they can tear down and most of us take a second to say utterly horrible things to each other all for the argument that "the reporter was only using his phone to translate a question". Well, for everything Jennifer Lawrence might be, she sure isn't crazy enough to imagine a person talking to her to be clicking pictures of her. And if he was taking pictures of her then maybe she was right to point out the fact that at a place like the Golden Globes, do you really want to be hiding behind a cellphone?

The other reporters in the room believe that the reporter himself was being rude, so there are many sides to a story. Till you know who is right for sure can you really pour down on a woman with so much hatred suddenly when yesterday you were busy making Gifs out of her every expressions?

This is where Anne Hathaway steps in, all this while I've been looking for women who empower each other and giving credit to every one who helps spread girl love. From the L'Oreal advertisement to how Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra show us how to remain strong and put our best foot forward. This incident has given us Anne Hathaway who recently stood up for Jennifer Lawrence, reminding the world that nobody is perfect and she's allowed one wrong step after working so hard to reach to her level of fame. And what I love about this is that she doesn't try to make what Jennifer did right but only stands up for who Lawrence is as a person stating, "Jennifer is a beautiful, talented, wildly successful, popular, FOUR TIME OSCAR NOMINATED young woman" which is exactly what one would like to hear from her. She states that JLaw has achieved so much in her life, leading to her not saying the most appropriate of things the entire time but that doesn't make her a terrible person. It just makes her human.

Hathaway also uses the most perfect hash tags and instead of taking the chance to bring down a powerful actress she asks the Internet to give her another chance before treating her as if she were a murder. This is one of the few time that a female celebrity has actually taken a stand for another and praised her fellow actor for being absolutely amazing till now encouraging girls to stop hating on each other but appreciating each other for who we are.

She made a mistake, let it go people.
