Our condolences are with Céline Dion at the moment, as the singer who brought us the infamous theme to Titanic has just gone through one of the hardest weeks imaginable.
Mere days after losing her husband of 20 years, René Angélil, to cancer, her brother has met the same sorry fate. According to E!, the singers reps confirmed the news on Saturday in a statement which read that Daniel Dion had 'suffered from cancer of the throat, tongue and brain.'
The pain Céline, 47, must be going through right now is unimaginable and surely the reason the star has not yet commented. Her sister, Claudette, however told French/Canadian publication 'Le Journal de Montréal,'
"He was ready and he no longer suffers. It was serene."
Daniel is survived by daughters, Valérie and Marie-Michelle, grandchildren Matis and Laurianne and "many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, who are remembering a gentle and reserved man of many talents."
