In celebration of its recent riot of a screening at Madrid’s CortomaÑia short film festival, comes the first teaser for Sergio Morcillo’s latest short film, You’re Gonna Die Tonight.

About the film

Presented by Miguel Ángel Vivas, director of the recent snow-set zombie chiller Extinction, and written by Álvaro Fuentes, You’re Gonna Die Tonight is inspired by an original concept from the tormented minds of Morcillo and Ismael de las Heras. The short promises a fresh spin on slasher tropes whilst injecting a ‘70s giallo vibes, while also oozing with eroticism.

If that’s not enticing enough for you, let's talk about the FX team behind this short film. Inside FX worked on You're Gonna Die Tonight, and if you don't know who they are those are the guys previously responsible for that rather epic little zombie franchise called [REC]. If you ask me, they absolutely killed it for this one.

Boasting an almighty ensemble cast of household Spanish names, including Mónica Aragón, Antonio Zancada, and Rafa Casette, and produced under the Terror Club and Fonofox banners, You're Gonna Die Tonight has all the potential to dominate the festival circuit this year…

"Are you ready, to die?"
