Over the decade my interest in films has grown to where I would like to express how movies are an influence and a reflection of our society

This time a review of Mad Max: Fury Road

My thoughts on the movie; Phenomenal, the movies action was a strict part of the plot and not some device to keep your attention. It was all intentional. The name sake of the movie, Max barely speaks in the movie, the real star was Charlize Theron's character Furiosa. The movie focused far more on her than Max. Thats not a bad thing, because the story which if you have seen it is pretty much a really large Car Chase, so certain characters had their moments. I would highly recommend seeing the film. To tell you the truth I was not really a fan of the previous films. I had seen Mad Max, and Mad Max: Road Warrior, with Road Warrior being better, but was never really a fan. Fury Road though so far is the best movie of the summer. It may not have made as much money as other films, that is not the point. The point of the film was story telling and for that I would give the movie a 10/10 .

On a side note, the nominations for the 2016 Academy Awards have been announced and Mad Max: Fury Road is on the list for Best Picture. With that in mind, I believe that this movie is already making big waves within Hollywood and we should expect more films with this level of practicality and story telling that can reach the Academy Awards.

This movie was strong in its storytelling and had great action pieces as well. In fact the movie was so action packed and done so well that it made other big blockbuster action films look , from the words of Immortan Joe, "MEDIOCRE!!!"

So buy this film on digital or BluRay or whatever for this movie deserves it, not only that but if you are a movie buff like I am then this movie should be within your collection.
