Spectre Review

Some spoilers... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Another Daniel Craig James Bond Film. This is the fourth in the series with him and possibly the last one if the rumors are true. I thought the movie was well done and it brings back an old 007 enemy in the form of Spectre, like the namesake suggests. Spectre if you don't know or have never seen the first James Bond films with Sean Connery back in the sixties, is a secret evil organization that is involved with terrorism, revenge, chaos, etc. The movie brings back some other classic james bond material like a charismatic Q, and a stern M. Christoph Waltz plays Franz Oberhauser or as we later learn, Ernst Stavro Blofeld. We learn that it was Blofeld that caused all the major problems for Bond in the previous films, starting from Casino Royale to Quantum of Solace to Skyfall. We learn many other revealing things within the film and the connections between Bond and Blofeld. The movie also has many references from previous bond films from the 60's and 70's.

Comparing this film to the other Daniel Craig Bond films, I would give it to be the second best right behind Casino Royale but before Skyfall and with Quantum of Solace being last. The movie has some great moments like the car chase between Daniel Craig's Bond and Dave Bautista's Mr. Hinx. In fact I would say that Dave Bautista, even though he doesn't say a thing in the film is one of the best parts of the film. But the best part is simply knowing that this film connects directly to the previous Daniel Craig Bond Films. Okay so I will give this movie a score of 6 out of 10. Its not the best Bond film I have seen but there have been far worse as well ... fake cough Moonraker fake cough. So ladies and gentleman see Spectre if you want, it might be worth your time, especially if you like Daniel Craig's Bond.
