(Warning – the following contains mild SPOILERS for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. If you still haven't seen the movie, then proceed with whatever level of caution you still have in you a month after its release...)

Now, the events of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens may not have made it all that likely that Kylo Ren would become a fan favorite – but some combination of Adam Driver's natural charisma, our tendency to love an interesting villain and THAT helmet seems to have made it happen anyway.

One question, though, has lingered for many fans.

(And this is where those aforementioned SPOILERS kick in, so scroll down past this adorable picture of Chewie looking sad to read on...)

Could Kylo Ren Really Have Been Han Solo's Son?

After all, though the two both share a certain roguish handsomeness, there's enough about Adam Driver's face that seems fundamentally different to Harrison 'Han' Ford's (and, for that matter, Carrie 'Leia' Fisher's) to suggest that the father-son casting of Han and Ben was a little inexact.

That is, until you see this here image, recently posted to Imgur, which pretty comprehensively proves that...

Kylo Ren is Very Much Han's Son

The only problem now?

Just try to un-see it...

What do you think?
