You are the Princess Shireen of the House Baratheon, and you are my daughter.

Ah, the perks of being a celebrity: gracing magazine covers, being the subject of idle conversation over Sunday dinner between family members who can't stand one another, never having to worry about how the hell you're going to survive the week until payday, or where you'll be going on holiday this Summer.

(Spoiler: You're not going anywhere... again.)

But before you get too carried away in the fantasy, think on this: there are perils that balance out those perks, as Jamie Dornan discovered whilst shooting The Fall season 3 in Belfast this week.

If you weren't already aware or perhaps tried to watch but just couldn't understand the Northern Irish accent, The Fall is a deliciously creepy thriller which follows a game of cat and mouse between Gillian Anderson's police detective and Dornan's handsome, charming, utterly sociopathic serial killer, Paul Spector.

It's very, very good.

According to Young Health Mag, "women and children from all over [the city] flocked to watch Jamie Dornan in action". One onlooker who was neither a woman nor a child, but a man named Gary, said of the commotion:

"[It's] getting really busy with fans now, more and more people are turning up every day no matter what the weather is," he said. "But Jamie is always kind and patient. He understands he has fans and he treats us very nicely, always taking the time to come and say hello and in turn he gets brilliant support."

Good to know Big D isn't let international recognition go to his artfully-sculpted head. Interesting to note that filming for The Fall is ongoing, which could potentially be part of the reason for the delay in production on Fifty Shades Darker, that shoot having been pushed back by a week to mid-Feb.

Fifty Shades of Grey is now an awards season nominee

Yes, you read that correctly.

Fifty Shades of Grey has joined the long and esteemed list of films receiving hype this awards season. Unfortunately for Universal, it's not quite the hype anybody involved might have liked: Grey is up for several Razzies, including Worst Film, Worst Actor for Dornan, and Worst Actress for Dakota Johnson.

The best response would be to "do a Halle Berry" and have Dornan and Johnson graciously accept their award - should they win the gong, of course - in person, just as Berry did for her infamous Catwoman performance...

First of all, I wanna thank Warner Bros. Thank you for putting me in a piece of shit, God-awful movie!

That, ladies and gents, is how one does an acceptance speech. Should it come to it, Dornan and Johnson should definitely take a few cues from Halle.

There's no concrete news on the revised start date for production on Fifty Shades Darker yet, but we'll know soon enough. In the meantime, you can buy both series of The Fall now on DVD and blu-ray - or hell, just stream it online. It can be our little secret.

Fifty Shades Darker is currently scheduled to drop February 10, 2017.
