The internet's current fad of making us dream wildly by thrusting nostalgic IPs into Unreal Engine 4 has gone overboard now, as one incredibly talented animator has given us a glimpse at the X-Men game that we deserve, but will never ever get.
Cameron Mitchell -- who also goes by MoebiusCammy -- has rendered a picture perfect version of Cerebro, the device used to locate mutants in the world of X-Men. Look at it and bask in its immeasurable beauty.
Using Maya for modelling, Photoshop for textures and Unreal 4 for lighting and rendering, the environment took Mitchell 5 months to create and goes a long way to add more ammo to the argument that one of the many things that this world needs is an open-world X-Men video game. Yes. Yes we do.
