That's all I can say at this point when looking at everything that DC and Warner Bros. revealed during last night's presentation on CW "Dawn of the Justice League". The event, which was co-hosted by Kevin Smith and Geoff Johns, was our first official sneak peek at not only the soon-to-be-released Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice movie but at the entire DC Extended Universe (DCEU) as a whole.

Let's run through what was revealed last night starting from littlest reveal to largest reveal!

The Exclusive Look at "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice"

This didn't reveal a whole lot that we didn't already know or suspect but it's cool to see them confirm suspicions that some of us may have drawn conclusions to already. Plus there were some snippets of new footage here but nothing that was too spoiler-y - or at least no more spoiler-y than what was revealed in last month's trailer.

Spotlight on Aquaman, the Flash, and Cyborg

These videos were cool because they showed us some new concept art of the characters as they may appear in future films. They also give a bit of an origin to these characters for those who may be uninformed about where these characters come from. What I liked most - besides the concept art - was seeing these actors like, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher actually get to sit down and do an official interview about their parts in the DC Universe and what they are most excited about and/or what they find most interesting about their characters.

The Green Lantern Corps. Joins the Justice League!

For all of those who were wondering where GL was in the line-up of the Justice League: have no fear. Geoff Johns confirmed that Green Lantern will be teaming up with the Justice League. Which Lantern will be the front runner? No one knows yet, but from what it sounds like, the entire Green Lantern Corps or at least the human Lanterns will be teaming up with Justice League to fight evil. This may explain why the Justice League film has been split into two different parts for two reasons:

  • 1. That's a lot of characters to put the spotlight on in one movie.
  • 2. The GL Corps joining up with the JL means there is going to be a massive threat unlike anything thing we've seen in cinemas.

Too bad they didn't give us any details on casting for any of the Green Lanterns but I'm sure we'll have some news by this year's San Diego Comic Con, if not sooner.

First Footage of "Wonder Woman"

The Wonder Woman movie made a surprise appearance by giving us our first look at the footage from the 2017 film (it's like looking into the future!). The footage was great albeit scarce. You can tell that, tonally, Patti Jenkins gets it right with this film by not only making it feel like an action-packed superhero movie but also capturing that era of World War I where, I believe, a majority of the movie will take place in.

Gal Gadot looks great in the uniform and you can tell that she's really put herself into this character and has embraced it. I can't wait to see more of this movie as time goes on and what mysteries will be revealed throughout the year. I'd be expecting to see a Wonder Woman trailer revealed at San Diego Comic Con this year as well.

BRAND NEW: "Suicide Squad" Trailer

This was the biggest reveal to me because it got a chance to show so much, being that this is the only other DC film to be released in 2016 besides Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

You can tell that this film is going to be really unique. It has a lot of different elements working in tangent with one another. The humor in the film is a welcome surprise but one that I also think was necessary. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice can afford to be a little darker and gloomy because the characters (mainly Superman) can come off kind of cheesy if the people behind the camera are not careful.

But with Suicide Squad, they could run the risk of the movie becoming too dark to the point where you just wouldn't enjoy the film and could possibly just make you feel terrible for watching it. They've found a balance to make this otherwise dark team-up film balance well and fit in the universe that Zack Snyder and company have put together.

I have to say though, in regards to the trailer that they edited it very well. Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" was a great song choice and all the cuts were fantastic. This was one of the better trailers I've seen in a long time. You can tell that they really had fun making this movie and that they're promising fans the chance to have the same amount of fun watching the film.

Every character and their respective actors/actresses look very well cast and none of them look out of place and they seem to all play off each other really well. There's no one character that I'm looking forward to the most in this movie necessarily. They all look great! Even Captain Boomerang looks fantastic and his name is literally "CAPTAIN BOOMERANG"!

There's a ton to be excited about in the DC Extended Universe and it just goes to show that DC and Warner Bros. are finally getting their actor together to make some true cinematic gold in the superhero genre. I can't wait to see more of these films unfold each year. I seriously think that every one of these DC films that are being released are my top two most anticipated films for their respective years.
