When Marvel Studios announced, Hulk would be joining Thor, everyone's minds likely went to the Avengers scene when Thor was sucker punched by the Jolly Green Giant. In a recent interview with Empire, Spotlight's Mark Ruffalo, a.k.a. Bruce Banner, had these comments about Marvel's production...

“There’s a little bit of Midnight Run, with [Charles] Grodin and [Robert] De Niro. I feel like that’s kind of where we’re heading with this relationship between Thor and Banner. It is a universal road movie – that’s where we’re heading. It’s not where you’d think? it will be, so it’s not your classic road movie but it has that structure, I think.”

If you're like most people of a certain age — then Midnight Run means little to nothing at all to you. Here's an excerpt, from Google, to give us a clue of what the movie is about... (96% on Rotten Tomatoes, Released July 20, 1988)

When Eddie Moscone (Joe Pantoliano) hires tight-lipped bounty hunter Jack Walsh (Robert De Niro) to locate a mob accountant named "The Duke" (Charles Grodin) and bring him to L.A., Eddie tells Jack that the job will be simple, or a "midnight run." But when Jack finds The Duke, the FBI and the mob are anxious to get their hands on him. In a cross-country chase, Jack must evade the authorities, hide from the mob and prevent The Duke's erratic personality from driving him mad.

Taika Waititi, is directing this buddy pic — and also is believed to be helping make the screenplay less serious, and more fun. Anyone who knows what Ragnarok, means in Norse mythology knows that Waitit has a daunting task ahead of him.

There's no word, as of yet, on who else will be cast for this upcoming Marvel Studios film. I am excited to see how they'll introduce the Hulk to Asgard! What happens if they introduce Hulk fighting on a distant planet? Thor comes and rescues him, but they'll have an army chasing them! They seek shelter on Asgard, and will have to contend with the fallout of Loki's reign. This is all speculation, but I cannot wait to see two of the Avengers' biggest guns—- battling unknown creatures, while being chased, all in outer space!

'Thor: Ragnarok' hit theaters November 3, 2017. Before then, 'Captain America: Civil War' is in theaters May 6th and 'Doctor Strange' is in theaters November 4, 2016.
