Uh-oh! If you were looking forward to a Terminator Genisys sequel you probably won't like this.

The sequel was originally scheduled for a May 19, 2017 release, but Paramount has now removed it from their calendar and replaced it with the new Baywatch movie. This doesn't come as a huge surprise, considering the movie didn't perform too well at the box office and the reviews have been mediocre at best.

The film featured Arnold Schwarzenegger and Emilia Clarke, better known as Daenerys Targaryen in HBO's Game of Thrones, and it involved time travel:

When John Connor, leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline.

If you still haven't seen the movie I recommend checking out the trailer to get a feel for what it's like.
