The level of excitement that has been generated for Pokemon GO is reaching fever pitch. We desperately want to understand everything we can about this upcoming game for iOS and Android devices (especially its release date).
Many Pokemon fans have imagined how it could impact on their lives, such as creating a gym in their neighborhood, going around and picking on people like the real-life Team Rocket, and even venturing to different natural sights in their own country to catch the rarest of the rare. But while we wait in this lull of news, we feel that there are some fantastic Pokemon jokes out there that reflect why we're excited for Pokemon: GO. Don't believe us? Let's start with this then!
These Images Make Us Gleeful For The Release Date Of Pokemon GO
In-jokes are always great. Well, for those in on the jokes, obviously. But when it comes to Pokemon, there is such a large community of fans to entertain that when an image or an idea resonates with you it can spread to thousands, even millions of players. Just look at how quickly hype was built for Pokemon GO! The idea of this beloved IP entering our own world is an enticing one. We seriously hope it lives up to our expectations and delivers this kind of satisfaction:
What do you sincerely want Pokemon GO to include in its gameplay on release date? Do you want the battle system to be fleshed out so that actual skill is required for capturing Pokemon in the wild? Do you want the mobile game to be compatible with those on the 3DS? What's your ultimate dream for this little game-changer?
See, this is the kind of thing that I could picture happening if Pokemon really existed. Not cool...but damn funny. But what I'm really wondering about Pokemon GO is how it'll impact on day-to-day activities. Will I be compelled to rush out of a meeting after the Pokémon Go Plus alerts me of a new creature in the area? Will I be tracking down a Pokemon on a street only to run into someone else doing the same thing? In any case, I hope more jokes like this are injected into our lives!
If there's anything that Pokemon GO can introduce for me, it's a sense of challenge. I really hope the fighting system isn't automated. If this is the case, a lot of Pokemon GO's potential could go with it. We'd lose the idea of players being able to challenge one another for Pokemon.
Regardless, we'll still probably have gyms and real-life Team Rockets. But with an element of skill incorporated into its gameplay, Pokemon GO could be something that'd happily replace the likes of Pokemon X and Y. In any case, I hope we see a lot more of this after the game gets its release date:
