With the amount of time until the release of Deadpool getting ever shorter, albeit very slowly, it seems only fitting that the incredible marketing campaign we have been eagerly following should continue, and so we've got another festive message from the Merc with a Mouth in the form of a special Australia Day message. Check it out below!

Now, of course seeing Deadpool again is amazing. Let's quickly review what he was speaking about!

Deadpool Fits In With Australia?

I'd never have thought of Deadpool as a really Australian kind of guy, but as he says himself:

"I fit right in with your proud nation. What with it's shady, criminal past and it's predilection for black-out drinking, and unrelenting condescension toward New Zealand."

I have to admit, that does kind of sound like Wade.

But There's One Problem... They Gave Us Wolverine!

As the majority of people know, Wolverine is actually from Canada, but it is Hugh Jackman, who has played Wolverine for 15 years, that Wade is referring to! While slowly sinking into a rather interesting Australian accent, Deadpool warns that there is one issue with Australia:

"Only one teeny problem, you gave us Wolverine. And for that, I can't forgive ye.

As we all know, it isn't actually Wolverine that Deadpool hates, after all they are Weapon X buddies and all that. But if you all care to remember X-Men: Origins Wolverine, you'll remember that it wasn't exactly the best of times for Mr. Wilson.

I apologize to the Internet for bringing that film up again this close to the release of Deadpool. Anyway, Deadpool himself reminisces about that tragic period in his existence.

"I've got no problems with Hugh, I mean he's a delightful guy, he really is. True legend. But the movie, that was a career low for me. You understand."

Then Everything Goes Downhill...

Then... Deadpool seemed to get a little distracted. He tried to get on track and wish everyone a happy Australia Day...

"Anywho, why am I here? Oh, right. Uhh, happy Australia Day!"

Which was good... but he didn't quite stick the landing of the congratulations.

"'Cause that's a real thing hahahaha. Throw another shrimp on the barbey, I know you say that one too."

And before he could even finish insulting the lovely country, Deadpool suddenly freaked out, and tore his classic Australian hat from his head, before realizing it was only a hat.

Of course, this isn't the first marketing promo that the big red guy has starred in, there were also those times...

He Announced The Very First Trailer!

I mean this was before we had seen hardly anything, and it was amazing. I mean, he called himself:

"A man on an e-harmony date with destiny."

That's still one of my favorite quotes so far!

He Took Over Halloween! (And the X-Men)

Deadpool dressed up as himself on Halloween and tried to turn some kids dressed as X-Men into the real thing... and it went badly.

Then There Was the Time He Stole Christmas!

Or, more specifically, he tried to replace Christmas with his own holiday, which he entitled "The Twelve Days of Deadpool." And you know what? It actually worked pretty well.

Then There Was The IMAX Explanation!

Just in case you didn't understand quite what IMAX meant, you can watch Deadpool explain it using chimichangas. I mean, everyone needs that in their life.

And that's all folks! Thanks for reading guys, click on the big blue follow button below if you want to see more awesome content about the Merc with the Mouth coming up to February 12th!
