With just over a month to go until Jack of The Red Hearts hits select cities across America, Entertainment Weekly has released the trailer for the highly anticipated film directed by Emmy-award winner Janet Grillo.
AnnaSophia Robb stars as Jack, an eighteen-year-old con artist, who in a desperate attempt to win custody of her younger sister Coke, lies her way into becoming a live-in companion for a young autistic girl named Glory, played by stage actress Taylor Richardson.
Over time, Jack moves away from the idea of conning Glory's family and really begins to mature and understand what it takes to be the sole caregiver for another human being. That is until Glory's mother, played by X-Men veteran Famke Janssen begins to catch on to Jack's scheme and finds out that Jack is not who she says she is.
The film has received endless praises from film festivals across the country along with best actress wins and nominations for both Robb and Janssen.
Jack of The Red Hearts is directed by Janet Grillo and based on a screenplay written by Jennifer Deaton. Be sure to catch the film when it opens in select AMC theaters on February 26, 2016.
