Western's these days are all seen at RedBox, in Wal-Mart movie shelves or just go over our heads. All have been Underrated not saying their bad just not a big production.
The only good westerns of the 2010's have been True Grit, The Hateful Eight, Django Unchained, and the upcoming hot new movie The Magnificent Seven!
This list contains only actors who have never starred in a western before, actors who have stared in a western, or like Chris Pratt in the Magnificent Seven can't count.
7) Dylan O'Bryan - The Young Gun
Every Western needs a good young star, Dylan O'Brian would star as a converted young gun running away from a farm to either join as a lawman or outlaw with major consequences in the end.
And Besides he looks a lot like Garry Grimes
6) Mark Wahlberg - The Ex Con with a bad Past
When an Ex Con is set free and want's nothing to do with his old gang, after many years in prison, he want's redemption and peace but his past wont let him have that. He must use the gun again to stop his old gang from killing again.
5) Jenifer Lawrence - The Independent Wild Cat
J-Law is completely capable of staring as an independent woman, put her with a gang of killer gang banger's, her as the leader would make her perfect!
Huh no wonder Quentin Tarantino wanted her to star in The Hateful Eight.
4) Scarlet Johanson - The Mexican Beauty
In many Westerns set around the Mexican Civil War, their was always the hot actress who played Mexican Bomb shell, ScarJo is amazingly beautiful and a dynamite beauty!
3) Jason Clarke - The Crazed Killer
In the past JC played the killer like Carl, Stenz in W.H.D and the main villain box office bomb in Terminator Genysis. In those White House Down Stenz killed anyone that got in his way and was hell bent on revenge.
In T5 he surprisingly played John Conner who was smart and manipulative.
Mix them together you either get an outlaw who killed the protagonists family, the one who is looking for Vengeance, or the good looking manipulative crooked Sheriff.

What made westerns so suspenseful and amazing was how bad ass was that stranger who never gave his name entirely out through out the whole film.
Names are hard to make up but just slap The Stranger in the credits and it will leave us with answers we want to know and find out.
Tom Hardy as the Man With No Name
The Stranger that came in from the cold, and came out a hero with one missing context; his name.
Is a name important, yes, no maybe so?
Innocent Character: You Know I never did know your name.
The Stranger: Well kid, some time's secrets are best left to rest.
