Proving he has a heart of gold, our fave late-night TV personality Jimmy Fallon took to Twitter on Sunday to reveal that he will be donating $10,000 to 'The Community Foundation of Greater Flint,' an organization providing aid to those affected by the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.
The city of 99,000 residents has been struggling with the absence of clean drinking water since April 2014, when it became contaminated with lead during the switching of water supply sources.
A federal state of emergency was declared by President Obama on January 16, and FEMA and the National Guard are both pitching in to help Flint residents by providing technical and logistical support, free bottled water and filters, and much more.
Fallon's kind donation was met with much appreciation from fans on social media.
Other celebrities that have joined forces to donate money and bottled water include Puff Daddy, Eminem, Mark Wahlberg, Wiz Khalifa, and Cher.
Hopefully Fallon's tweet will encourage others to donate and help Flint during this time of crisis.
Thanks Jimmy for leading by example.
And for bringing us this...
