So apparently, the vikings had it right all along regarding the flatness of the planet we live on.

Okay I'm clearly joking because, y'know, centuries of developed scientific tradition and theory, and well, space cameras exist. However, rapper B.o.B has recently publicized his beliefs, which are much in accordance with those of the vikings who pushed for the 'flat earth theory' thousands of years ago, along with a handful of other extraordinary C-list celebrities such as Tila Tequila.

This whole episode started with a scientifically investigative tweet on the rapper's Twitter account.

This was supplemented with a pseudo-academic monologue clearly suggesting the talented rapper was onto something.

"No matter how high in elevation you are...the horizon is always eye level"

On the one hand, it is great to see B.o.B explore his beliefs relating to the "big issues," but on the other, I suggest the talented rapper stick to what he does best and not quit the day job.

B.o.B's less than well informed proclamations eventually fell on the ears of the true experts. Physicist Neil deGrasse Tyson hit back at B.o.B, but indicated his intentions were merciful when he rounded up his drilling with a compliment about the rapper's musical abilities.

Nonetheless, B.o.B was inspired by the showdown with the scientist to drop a spur-of-the-moment diss track entitled 'Flatline ft. Neil Tyson.' It really is a must-listen.

The lyrics to the track can be found here.

Is B.o.B really for real?
