Prisoners director Denis Villeneuve is at the helm and Ryan Gosling — who should be quite used to crime-filled neon cities after Drive and Only God Forgives — will join Ford in front of the camera.

Original writer Hampton Fancher is back, teaming with Michael Green to produce the screenplay, inspired by an original story from Ridley Scott and Fancher himself, set decades after the events of the first Blade Runner.

Who would you like to see in a new Blade Runner sequel? I'm thinking that Krysten Ritter and Alicia Vikander would make excellent replicants...
