The horror-gore director that brought us House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects is at it again with his newest gift to the on-screen world of blood and guts, 31.
It seems that Rob Zombie can't resist fleshing out horror flicks that terrorize audiences with a gang of degenerate, homicidal maniacs... and that's ok with us.
The movie sees a group of five carnival workers kidnapped and forced to play a twisted little game called 31 by a group of roadside carny psychopaths in clown makeup.
For 12 hours, each of the terrified friends have to survive multiple rounds in the chambers of a death mansion, where murderous lunatics like Sex-Head (Elizabeth Daily), Death-Head (Torsten Voges), and Psycho-Head (Lew Temple) plan to torture them with chainsaws, axes, and knives.
The movie has plenty of horror movie must-haves reminiscent of House of 1000 Corpses, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Saw, Death Race, and The Funhouse. The film offers new maniacs, a new, nightmarish compound, chainsaws, and blood a plenty.
The movie was released into the world on January 23rd. Check out the trailer:
