You sign a contract, you go in alone, you've no idea what's going to happen once you're inside: welcome to America's most terrifying maze, the Blackout, which has just been documented for Rich Fox’s The Blackout Experiments.

Even from the short documentary teaser which debuted at Sundance Film Festival, it's clear the Blackout maze is legitimately, shit-your-pants terrifying, and yet the premise is so intriguing you can't help but want to experience it for yourself.

“A group of friends discover the dark underworld of the ultra-scary, psychosexual horror experience called Blackout. But what starts as a thrill ride through the unknown becomes deeply personal, developing into an obsession that hijacks their lives and blurs the line between reality and paranoid fantasy.”

Watch the teaser below:

It's a little unclear as to whether The Blackout Experiments is a straight forward documentary or whether some is scripted, but if the rumors about the maze are true it sounds pretty damn badass regardless.
