It’s all getting a bit serious during this awards season in Hollywood. What should be the celebration of all things celebrity is turning into a bitter battleground for issues around race and gender. Sure, we all expect a bit of controversy and name calling, and certainly these issues are rightly being discussed, but there’s a feeling it’s all becoming overtly nasty. The whole scene is in need of lightning up, and what better way than the classic party theme of fancy dress?

The creative community at DesignCrowd has imagined how A-listers could chose to champion equal rights on the next red carpet — through a clothes swap and some classic gender bending.

We’re talking Leo in lace, Brad as a blond bombshell, and Jen in a tux. Would it resolve all the problems? Probably not. But at least it might raise a smile...
