Residents of Flint, Michigan have become victim to a crisis when in 2014, the city switched its water source from Detroit to the Flint River, at which point lead crept into the drinking water due to corroded pipes.

Puff Daddy and Mark Wahlberg are planning to put their celebrity to good use and donate safe drinking water to Flint's residents.

P. Diddy's media platform has issued the following statement:

AQUAhydrate investors Mark Wahlberg and REVOLT chairman, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, are teaming with Eminem and Wiz Khalifa to donate one million bottles of AQUAhydrate to the people of Flint,”

“The initial donation of five thousand cases is making it’s way across the country and is expected to arrive early next week.”

“working closely with Michigan state and emergency management in a long-term commitment until the water issue is resolved”.

P. Diddy has been very vocal about how he feels about the issue, reposting to his Instagram the following video:

His reposting with the video came with the political message:

"This is a racial killing. Flint MI is 60% black. When u knowingly poison a black city, u r committing a version of genocide."

Clearly this issue matters a lot to P. Diddy as well as the likes of Cher, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Eminem, and Mark Wahlberg who are all doing their own philanthropic part in this crisis.
