Father, forgive me for I have sinned.
When the original run of The X-Files was on television, I have to admit that I wasn't a big fan. The whole government conspiracy thing didn't quite catch my interest. If I wanted aliens, I turned to
instead. Yes I know, immaturity at its best.
The story of two FBI suits, Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) searching for the truth since it was "out there" didn't do anything for me, until now. I don't know what it was, but when I played the first episode of what is season 10 of this legendary show, I was pleasantly surprised.
I didn't have to go back 9 seasons to get hooked, the show immediately immerses you into a world of secrets and lies, human experiments and conspiracies that actually exist. The X-Files reels you in and keeps you hooked.
Scully and Mulder are two characters that have been put through the meat grinder in an attempt to shine a light in some pretty dark corners, and paying a heavy price for their noble quest. When a conspiracy theorist uncovers a secret involving a special young woman, Scully and Mulder are called to action once again to investigate.
I don't want to give away much, but the X-Files reboot is definitely worth the watch! Take it from a newbie, cause you won't regret it.
