One of the biggest questions for The Force Awakens is, "Who is Rey's father?" The most obvious choice is Luke Skywalker, but I honestly am reluctant to believe that because it's such a boring and obvious answer, so I'll start with who I think it is: Obi Wan Kenobi.
The first piece of evidence is that they are the only two characters in the Star Wars universe with British accents. I mean even the British actors (Liam Neeson, John Boyega) were specifically told to use an american accent. So that's quite a big piece of evidence right there.
Secondly, in the scene where Rey is given Luke's lightsaber at Maz Knata's castle, it is not Luke's, but both Ewan Mcgregor and Alec Guinness's voice saying that those were Rey's first steps.
You might ask one of the biggest plot holes: the age difference. That actually makes since because that would explain why Rey didn't remember him because that would mean that it was her mom that left her on Jakku and clearly that was at a very young age giving Obi Wan about 16 years to age. Another subtle hint is one part of a kylo ren quote, "You see Solo as the father you never had."
That's my opinion but let me know what you think in the pole below in which I have a couple more possibilities.
