If you were born in the late '80s or early '90s, I'd like you to be seated while I tell you some exciting news — all of your favorite Nickelodeon cartoons are being brought to the big screen. At. The. Same. Time.

The feature, NickToons, will throw all of the well known characters together in a bubble of blissful nostalgia, in Nickelodeon's answer to Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), set in a mixed universe of live-action and animation.

That Means We'll See 'The Rugrats'...

Meet 'Ren & Stimpy'

While 'The Angry Beavers'...

Will Be Hanging Out With Some Of The 'Aaahh! Real Monsters' Crew

We Could See 'Arnold'...

Befriending 'Doug'!

This sounds almost too perfect to be true, right? For anyone who absorbed Nickelodeon classics during their childhood, the iconic cartoons carry a shedload of sentimental value. Personally, I think combining the most loved characters in a live-action setting is a stroke of genius.

The film will be produced by Paramount, and will be directed by Jared Hess, who wrote and directed Napoleon Dynamite (2004) and Nacho Libra (2006). Hess will also write the script with his wife and co-writer, Jarusha Hess.
