CBS has released a promotional trailer for Supergirl episode 12 and... well, shit is going down. Have a look at the promo trailer!

Yes, CBS has been none too shy about revealing the overarching story of Season 1, episode 12... Bizarro-Girl is here and there's going to be a showdown!

CBS is taking Supergirl in a great direction, as shown by the introduction of Bizarro -- truly the greatest threat Kara Danvers can face at this point.

Supergirl has been known for introducing a number of elements commonly associated with up Superman, including Maxwell Lord and a number of other villainous figures. Bizarro is slightly different; yes, there was a Bizarro Superman, but in the comics Supergirl actually had her very own Bizarro.

So who is Bizarro? For the sake of time-saving and relevancy we'll discuss Bizarro-Girl and ignore the Superman villain. Bizarro-Girl first appeared in DC comics as a Supergirl antagonist; she's a 'Bizarro' from 'Bizarro world,' yet has the ability to speak properly, unlike many of her people.

Many of Bizarro-Girl's powers are reflections of Supergirl's abilities: she can fly, move at super-human speed and is in possession of super-strength. However, some of her abilities are binary opposites of Supergirl's: Bizarro-Girl has freeze vision, flame breath, and solid / rock vision.

This week's episode of Supergirl was visually impressive, so it'll be especially interesting seeing Supergirl facing-off against Bizarro-Girl; oh yeah... I imagine the show's creators will go all-out for that one! I can't wait to see how CBS handles their newest creative adventure.
