Both known and forgotten horror films of the 20th Century

Kicking off 2016 with a fresh batch of movies, we are going to start with a new film, inspired by another book series. We are introduced to a young girl named Cassie Sullivan (Chloë Grace Moretz) who becomes reluctant heroine when Earth is attacked by the Others (aliens), in a series of waves. On the 5th Wave, Cassie finds herself alone, scared, but is determined to survive and to be reunited with her little brother, Sam (Zackary Arthur). Overall, the film was good, acting was great, special effects were well done, but something was missing. I find this to be a problem with a lot of books that are converted into films, stuff that is important to the story gets left out. It's hard to say what exactly is missing at this point, because I haven't read the book series. This review isn't a long one because I honestly don't have much to say, it was good, but nothing too special. It is worth a watch, but i would go on cheapy night, or wait til a home release.
