24 is getting a reboot: 24: Legacy, and Fox are pulling out all the stops to uphold the high standards expected by 24 fans, but you can't please everyone! Check out the following clip straight out of the iconic 24 series.

24 failed to be renewed for season 10 back in 2014, but is now returning in the form of 24: Legacy, a fact which has fans of the long-running series pretty worked up. Some are against the reboot, due to the absence of classic character, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), whereas others are strongly in favor of 24 - round 2... sans Jack Bauer.

It turns out that the 24 reboot will have a new lead: Homeland and Lord of the Rings star, Miranda Otto, who will be taking on the role of Rebecca Ingram, a former CTU head now settled down with a senator.

Miranda Otto will be joining 24: Legacy opposite Corey Hawkins, known for his role as Dr. Dre in Straight Outa Compton, as well as his brief role as Heath in The Walking Dead.

Hawkins will play the role of an army veteran who finds himself drawn back into action and naturally, he'll find himself coming across Rebecca Ingram in due time. So far, so good!

24 was a hell of a series and it'll be good to see it back in action in the form of 24: Legacy. Are you excited to see Miranda Otto and Corey Hawkins in action as they bring back 24 with some serious style, or do you think the show will be a disappointment without the classic protagonist?
