The new show Legends of Tomorrow is awesome! The time travelling show with our B-team heroes from Arrow and the The Flash such as the A.T.O.M., Firestorm, White Canary, Captain Cold, Heatwave, Hawkman, and Hawkgirl. The show will be fighting Vandal Savage and travel through time. They will not only be going to the past but to the future. In Episode 6, the team goes to the year 2046 where they meet future Oliver Queen, being played as by Stephen Amell. Here's what producer Marc Guggenheim had to say:

“Every once and a while, we do an episode where the 10-year-old me has to pinch himself. We’re not only introducing our version of Connor Hawke to our universe, we’re going to meet the 2046 version of Oliver Queen, and Stephen Amell is going to be reprising his role from Arrow. As an added bonus to comic-book fans, Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character’s appearance in the seminal Dark Knight Returns. We think this episode features some of the coolest things we’ve ever done.”

Oliver Will Be Featuring his Goatee

Stephen Amell has stated multiple times that Oliver will never have his signature goatee on Arrow. He's not lying to us because he will be appearing on Legends of Tomorrow with the goatee, not Arrow. So yes, 30 years in the future, we will get to see Oliver Queen shed his goatee while we have waited 4 seasons of Arrow to finally see it in its glory.

If this isn't awesome enough, he will also be missing an arm, just like in the Dark Knight Returns comic book series. His son, Connor Hawke, will be taking on the Green Arrow mantle as Oliver Queen will be retired. Guggenheim and Amell have both teased that the tone will be different from Arrow and The Flash and we will be seeing some really cool stuff.

In the Dark Knight Returns series, Oliver Queen has undertaken a top-secret career of terrorism against government oppression. He lost his left arm years ago and blames it on Superman. Obviously in the show, we really haven't seen Superman besides glimpses of him in Supergirl. The thing we do know is that Superman exists, and so does Batman. We know Batman exists from the newspaper from the first episode of The Flash as they talk about Bruce Wayne. Also, in the last episode of Arrow, Felicity said she would have gone with the code name Oracle, but it was already taken. That is, of course a nod to Barbra Gordon's, who works with Batman.

They will not be following the Dark Knight Returns storyline as they are just taking a nod of Oliver's lost arm from this series. You never know, Superman could be the reason Oliver lost his arm. We will probably get a hint on why it happened but we will most likely not find out.

Where is the Rest of Team Arrow?

A good explanation is that some of them could be dead. The remaining of Team Arrow could be fighting in Star City with Connor Hawke. Oliver could have left a long time ago to go and fight with the Justice League. There is so many different situations as we know so very little, it's so hard to tell. That reason would be my top reason as of everything we know of now. What I am definitely curious about is if we will see anyone else from Team Arrow and if Oliver will mention the Justice League? We will have to see...

What do YOU guys think? How will Oliver be portrayed? Where will he be? Will we see the rest of Team Arrow? Tell me below!
