Just to start off I wouldn't say I'm a full blown Whovian but my knowledge of Doctor Who is pretty extensive for only watching 3 (now 4) episodes.

WARNING: I'M NOT QUITE SURE IF YOU'D CALL THEM SPOILERS OR NOT, (I marked them anyway) BUT ANYWHO (no pun intended) READ ON IF YOU WANT

Let me just say, it was hard to understand because;

1 they talk so fast 2 The music to audio ratio is tilting more on the music side, and 3. I didn't have the subtitles on.

It starts out with Rose Tylers (Billie Piper) daily routine. (The only actor to properly portray waking up) After having a funny introduction with the Doctor (Christopher Eccleston),

losing her job, and her boyfriend, Mickey (Noel Clarke). Her and the Doctor must figure out where the Living Plastics (all the plastic made stuff [mannequins, ]) transmittion is coming from.

Rose: You pulled his arm off!

The Doctor: Yep. (tosses it to Rose) Plastic.

I will admit a few parts jump scared me.

1. Dummies coming to life. But c'mon everything in Doctor Who comes to life.

2.The dummie that replaced Mickey. Talk about freaky!

3.The decapitation of Dummie Mickey at the resturant.

This was an amazing way to officialy start my journey of Doctor Who. And now I see why everyone likes Christopher Eccleston.

On a scale from 1-10 (1 being a bad documentary 10 being Star Wars 6)I give this episode an 7.5 And I can't wait to watch the next one!
