Leonardo DiCaprio may have walked away from the Screen Actors Guild Awards with an Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role award for The Revenant, but the only thing the Internet seems to have taken from the ceremony is the onscreen action Leo had with his vaporizer.
As DiCaprio sat with his (assumedly intentional) tux-coordinated vape, Twitter exploded with exceedingly mixed reactions, from the approving:
To the bitterly disappointed:
Seemingly unbeknownst to these aghast souls, this isn't the first time Leo and his vape have hit the headlines. Last year Miley Cyrus talked to Jimmy Fallon about the time she performed on the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special and revealed that the Oscar nominated actor did not have his vaporizer etiquette down at all.
“I was feeling this emotion because there’s, like, a kind of etiquette-cy of when you’re there, you’ve got to pass that s—t, Leo. And he never did. So that was weird to me. He wasn’t passing the vape.”
And then there was this, the most pointlessly beautiful thing you will see today:
Dicaprio, Tom Hardy and Miley aren't the only celebs to have openly enjoyed a bit of vapey action. Take this bunch, for example:
LiLo with a vape was such a big story that she was featured in an episode of Extras with one.
Reedus won't be amongst The Walking Dead if he carries on swapping real cigs for e-cigs.
Looking like a total don, as per.
Go big or go home, a la Samuel Jackson.
Michelle Rodriguez & Cara Delevigne
Vaping in da club.
Charlie Sheen is such an e-cigarette advocate in 2011 he announced his endorsement of vaporizer manufacturing company, NicoSheen.
Johnny Depp was apparently first seen vaping in 2010, on the set of The Tourist.
Smoked an e-cigarette live on air with David Letterman.
Once appeared in an ad for the vaporizer brand NJOY.
