All of the early signs suggest We Are The Flesh is going to be a stylishly violent and disturbing horror experience that will certainly make your skin crawl.
Directed by Emiliano Rocha Minter, the Mexican horror flick has already been endorsed by Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu, who directed Birdman (2014) and The Revenant (2015).
The movie will premiere at Rotterdam International Film festival on February 2nd. But, before it's unleashed to audiences, check out the trailer below:
"A Dangerous Offer To Survive The Outside World"
We Are The Flesh is a post-apocalyptic horror set in Mexico, that follows a brother and sister as they try to stay alive in a dilapidated and dangerous city.
In the creepy trailer, the pair run into an apparent lunatic who tells them they will be killed for their very own flesh and blood.
The official synopsis adds a little more context:
They find their way into one of its last surviving buildings, where a man makes them a dangerous offer to survive the outside world. As they help him transform the building into a womb-like cave, a disquieting sexual relationship emerges, along with a dynamic in which darker instincts do their destructive work.
