The art style of Kingdom Hearts is something that has attracted millions of fans all over the world. Fan art is a common phenomenon around any kind of video game, but there are an abundance of gamers out there who are keen to show their love for the work of Square Enix and Disney.

One such individual, who goes by the name of furafura on DeviantArt, has taken the time to give us an insight into how Disney princesses could be portrayed within the Kingdom Hearts lore. Of course, they're not all going to be keyblade-wielders like Sora, but if that was possible, these images should serve as inspiration for their design in Kingdom Hearts 3.

Kingdom Hearts 3 & Some Awesome Disney Princess Character Designs

Tinkerbell

DAYUM! Now that is some awesome fan art. Whether we're talking about the intricate details of Tinkerbell's outfit, or how the design of her keyblade perfectly encapsulates her character, furafura has demonstrated an knack for detail. Look at the grip of her blade and how it forms in the shape of a flower, or how the top of her weapon resembles that of a panflute. But this is only the beginning!

Jasmine

Can I slightly direct the focus away from Princess Jasmine for a second in order to comment on Rajah's eyes! Seriously, this animal is starring into my soul, and I feel like he needs to be a summonable character in Kingdom Hearts 3. This guy is fierce. In any case, back to the Disney Princess!

I love the design for the large sapphire-like jewels that cover Jasmine's costume, as well as the design of her keyblade. Look at the design of her key bit, or even the small chain hanging from the bottom of the weapon. Loving this character work!

Cinderella

Next up we have Cinderella (both shoes intact) and I think attention must be instantly drawn to her keyblade. The woman has a variation of the Disney castle on it, for god's sake! I also love how furafura has designed the clock face beneath her as well as the crazy boots that this princess has been gifted (though you can notice the traditional glass slipper hanging from the keyblade). Beautiful work, once again.

Sally
Sally

Though not a Disney princess, this may be my favorite design of the lot. Here we see Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, with her own version of a keyblade (one which I think we desperately need in Kingdom Hearts 3). While her costume is straight of out Tim Burton's film, furafura has taken it upon herself to gift Sally a kind of Harry-Potter-like hat. But you gotta love that keyblade! Jack Skellington's face above the handle, the bat design of the key, and the little pumpkin hanging from the end of a chain. Awesome.

We'd love to see these kind of designs incorporated into Kingdom Hearts 3, even though it obviously isn't possible. In any case, if you liked that what's on display let us know in the comments, and be sure to head on over to furafura's page on DeviatArt to share your love!
