It's February and love is in the air! That's especially true for our favorite hillbillies, Bo (Bo Keister), Cephus (Scott Geiter), and Lulu (Rachel Faulkner), of Hillbilly Horror Show, as today marks the launch of their "Hillbillies With Hearts" campaign to help combat cerebral palsy.
They kicked off the campaign this morning on Facebook:
February is "Hillbillies with Hearts" month and we're #giving back!!! From now until the end of February, all those who stream Hillbilly Horror Show on #Vimeo will be helping to fight #cerebralpalsy!
This hits close to home for our hillbilly family, as the youngest son of our very own Bo Keister suffers from #CP. So to help, we are donating 50% of all proceeds to Bo's favorite national CP #charity!
Now, go enjoy some great laughs for a terrific cause, and don't forget to spread the word!
We touched base with series star Bo Keister for more info about the campaign:
Hillbilly Horror Show has grown so quickly that we wanted to use that as a platform to do some good things and give back. February seemed like a great time to share some love and do something special by using our Vimeo channel.
Cerebral palsy is a cause that's close to my heart, because my youngest son suffers from it. Fortunately his is mild in comparison to so many other kids out there. He's the greatest little guy in the world, and is such an inspiration in my life. If I can use my voice to draw attention to CP, contribute, and make people more aware of what he, and so many other children deal with, then it's the least I can do.
