Oh Pierce where did it all go wrong with you? You were a successful member of MI:6 and then you walked away from it all. I know bungee jumping off of a Russian damn and infiltrating North Korea via surfboard can be tedious work but look at where life after Bond has left you...straight to Netflix along with Nic Cage and Bruce Willis. I know the money is good and in truth your movie, Survivor was fairly entertaining despite being a low budget, by the number, action flick. What I have a problem with is...You played the bad guy Pierce! Usually when you play an assassin there is a twist. For example, in the the Matador, you played a comical low-life who grew tired of killing and developed a nervous tick as well as a friendship with a quaint suburban couple. In November Man you were a rogue agent who was out for revenge and on a mission to rescue his daughter. In both films you proved you could be ruthless and tough as nails but at the core was someone to still root for. But your "Watchmaker" character in Survivor was just nasty. Not only that your character was showing his age a bit and he kept on missing his target. Really? You Pierce...miss? Milla Jovovich, who by the way, would have made an awesome Bond girl, kept on besting you through out the film. I know it can't be help because she was the heroine and you played the cold blooded, greedy, terrorist. It was all just a bit too disheartening for me to bear. After all I've been a fan since Remington Steele. How about a little less grit and a bit more of that old charm?
