The trailer for a new LEGO Star Wars game, based on the recent $2 billion movie, has leaked online. It's an almost exact shot-for-shot remake of The Force Awakens's cinematic trailer, but with the LEGO series' silly sense of humor added in. Take a look:
The most exciting news, however, comes from the game's Xbox Store product page. Not only will you be able to relive all the epic scenes from J.J. Abrams's blockbuster film, but you'll also find out what happened during the intervening years between Return of the Jedi and Episode VII.
Fans of Telltale's whimsical brick-built adventures will be pleased to hear that this latest iteration will introduce exciting new features like (long awaited) cover mechanics and branching build options:
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens also introduces Multi-Builds and Blaster Battles to the LEGO videogame universe. With Multi-Builds, use available LEGO bricks to open up new paths, then break them apart and re-build them again to open up another! And another! During Blaster Battles, use your surroundings as cover to stand against the First Order.
LEGO The Force Awakens is set to be released June 28 on every platform under the sun, including Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
