It seems that every since the awards season started in 2016, we have been graced with the wondrous visions of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in embrace wherever we look.
Not only did the Titanic onscreen lovers basically make us shed tears of joy when they hugged it out at the Golden Globes, but this week at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, they locked eyes on the red carpet and all was suddenly well with the world.
And now, speaking to People magazine, Kate once again gushed over how fantastic Leo is as an actor and human. Specifically, the 41-year-old revealed that since they first worked together all the way back in 1997, he's still very much the same person. Unlike many would assume, fame really hasn't changed him that much at all! She said:
"He's a solid, loyal person. He's a great friend, he always has been, and not just to me, but to everyone around him. He still has friends he had when we made Titanic."
"In many ways he hasn't changed a bit, but in other ways he absolutely has changed."
Finally, she talked yet again of his strong position in Hollywood right now, finishing her loving sentiments with the one thing we have been thinking for decades — the fact that he's an absolute babe:
"He's a stronger actor in this moment than he's ever been. I think he's more handsome than he's ever been. And he feels, to me, the most settled he's ever felt, in himself, right now, which is quite strange, really, given that there's a lot happening around him."
I guess this pretty much confirms who she'll be keeping her fingers crossed for at the Academy Awards, right?
