Eddie the Eagle is a true story about a young man, Michael Edwards (also known as Eddie), whose dream is to go to the Olympics. After failing time and time again, Eddie finally makes it to the Olympics where he represents Great Britain in the ski jumping competition. I would tell you more about the movie but that would take the fun out of seeing it, right? So, here's why this movie is definitely worth your time!

It's Heart Warming!

This movie is one that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It'll make you feel bad for the characters at one point, then excited for them the next! Eddie is such a lovable goofball, Taron Egerton has definitely stepped up his acting game with this one! As I sat in the theater looked around and I couldn't help but see so many smiling faces throughout the film! There were even points where the theater erupted in applause! I mean, come on, who doesn't love an underdog story? A monster, that's who!

It's Inspirational!

This feel good movie shows you that even when the odds aren't in your favor, you can't give up. It shows that you can't give in to the pressures that are put on you and you have to keep moving forward no matter what. Even after failing multiple times, Eddie kept chasing after his dream of being an Olympic athlete. He always made the best of his situation even if it wasn't that great. After walking out of this movie I was so inspired to be who I wanted to be and do what I wanted to do, and I can guarantee that you will too.

It's Comedic!

Throughout the movie there were plenty of moments that you couldn't help but giggle, or even burst into laughter at! This movie definitely was not afraid to lighten the serious moods with witty banter and humorous training montages of Bronson Peary's (Hugh Jackman) unorthodox ski jumping techniques. Hugh Jackman and Taron Egerton blended together so well when it came to this type of humor!

Bonus: It's Deadpool Approved!

"Saw EDDIE THE EAGLE tonight! Probably the best underdog film I've ever seen. @thehughjackman and were BRILLIANT."

The Merc with a Mouth hath spoken!

If you still don't believe me when I say that this movie is great, then go see for yourself!

Eddie the Eagle lands in theaters February 26th, 2016!
