Nick Jonas is a 'gay icon' to many fans, and this star of music and screen is proud to be an inspirational figure, having been taught from a young age that:
"It’s all love, it’s all the same."
Nick Jonas spoke to Pink News about his status as a 'gay icon':
“It’s an honor, but I don’t think of myself as an icon.
There should be a lot more straight artists who don’t have a problem with having gay fans.”
Nick has recently played gay on TV's Kingdom as fighter Nate Kulina, and also as Boone Clemens for Ryan Murphy's Scream Queens.
Recently describing himself as 'open and comfortable' about his own sexuality, Nick Jonas urges other actors to be accepting of other people:
”I’m really proud to play gay characters and I’ll continue to do so. I think it’s among the challenges of maturing as an actor.”
When asked by the Daily Star if he's sexually experienced with men, he just said:
“I can’t say if I have or haven’t, but if you watch the show you’ll see more of that. Well, I’m gay in Kingdom, if you keep watching the series you’ll see more of that."
