The Digimon Franchise has won the hearts of many through the years, and with the release of its newest title to the US, it looks like even more fans will be joining the fandom.

One year after its release in Japan and I'll be the first to say, Cyber Sleuth was well worth the wait. Like any other Digimon game you'll train and head into combat with other Digital Monsters but Cyber Sleuth has a twist. In this version not only are you a Digimon Tamer, you're also an assistant detective....hence the name "Cyber Sleuth"

Like any other mystery/detective game, dialogue is a key aspect in the gameplay. From the start of the game, you'll be bombarded with chat bubbles then again once the tutorial begins. Once you receive your first Digimon that's when the "meat" of the game begins. You'll have the option of choosing either Terriermon, Palmon, or Hagurumon as your first partner, and as you progress you'll collect data and will be able to create your own digimon in the Digilab.

The Digilab is where you'll manage the Digimon in your team and check up on any companions you left in the Digifarm, a place where you can drop off a couple digimon so that they can grow and level up without the need of combat. You are also able to Digivolve any Digimon that meet the requirements to evolve in the Digilab.

All in all, Cyber Sleuth will be a great addition to your game library, whether you're and avid fan or just getting started you'll be spending a lot of time in the Digital World.
