After this week's exciting episode of The Flash, it looks like the team are about to make major steps towards their epic fight with Zoom.
Barry, Wells and Cisco are about to journey to Earth-2 in an effort to rescue Wells's daughter, Jessie, from those perfectly manicured talons of Zoom. The team are stunned when they run into the Earth-2 counterparts of the West family, but nothing can prepare them for the arrival of Killer Frost and Deathstorm.

Episode 12 took an unexpected turn when, unable to live with the guilt about what he'd done to betray his new found team, Harrison Wells admitted to Barry that he was stealing his Speed Force and giving it to Zoom. This resulted in Team Flash planning to venture into Earth-2, in order to save Harrison's daughter.
They're sure to hit a few road bumps on the way though, as Earth-2 is almost the polar opposite to the world they know. The promo for 'Welcome to Earth-2' features the long awaited reunion for Caitlin and Ronnie, albeit in their parallel universe counterparts as Killer Frost and Deathstorm, both of whom prove to be a real pain in the proverbial bottom of Team Flash.
Meanwhile back on Earth-1, Jay Garrick has to take over the choirs and responsibilities of The Flash when a metahuman named Geomancer attacks Central City.
Check out the promo for episode 13 below:
I'm extremely excited to see Robbie Amell flex his creative muscle in the role of Deathstorm, and even seeing Danielle Panabaker bring out her more villainous side, both of which are a million miles away from their 'goody-two shoes' persona back on Earth-1.
The wise words of Joe West in the above clip, sparks hope that Jay Garrick could finally regain his own portion of the Speed Force (If he's not Zoom. wink, wink). Could we finally be about the gain some insight into the mysteries that have been building since episode 1?
At this point I don't even mind if we have to wait until the final episode for anything to be revealed. The brilliant writing of this show, the mysteries, and the cast's chemistry on screen together has rapidly made this one of my favorite shows. Like Season 1 before it, the mysteries of Season 2 are what make this show both exciting and intriguing and the closely guarded mysteries keep everyone talking.
In the extended trailer above, there's a shot of Barry removing a hat like this from Earth-2's statue of The Flash. As Jay turned up with his hat, I bet there's a little time travel fun, and the hat that flew through at the end of Season 1, may actually be the one Barry throws from said statue.
Not overly relevant to this article, but hey I thought it would be fun to attempt to guess something on this show, everyone's trying the guess who Zoom is, but no one ever worries about Jay's hats...
'Welcome To Earth-2' will air Tuesday the 9th February at 8pm on the CW.
